CAMEO (Come And Meet Each Other) meet on the 2nd Monday afternoon each month with a range of speakers and a chance to catch up with new and old friends. The next meeting will be held in the church on Monday 13th January at 2.30pm when Brian and Janice Saunders will be talking about their visit to Botswana.
St. George's run a range of film clubs for showing films for all ages, including the regular Junior Film Club, Teen Screen and Golden Oldie Pictures (which is a Dementia friendly screening). We also show one-off films for the wider church family on occasions.
We also run an 'Into Film Club' in association with Into Film who put film at the heart of the educational and personal development of children and young people across the UK. Through this film club we are working with children and young people to explore the medium of film making.
St. George's has several home groups which meet once a fortnight in people's houses to study, share and pray with each other. Currently meetings are held on alternate Monday morning and evening and Thursday morning and evening. If you are interested in joining a house group please contact the Church Administrator.

Other Social Activities
St. George's have a variety of social activities that take place throughout the year; these include on Shrove Tuesday, at Harvest and at Christmas. These events are often linked to fundraising for our ongoing outreach and mission partners. A highlight of the year is also the Safari Supper which is held in the village in May each year.
